Movema’s amazing Shakti community group were invited to perform at the National Diversity Awards, the UK’s most prestigious diversity event celebrating the excellent achievements of grass-root communities that tackle the issues in today’s society, providing them with recognition for their dedication and hard work.
Recognising over 1,000 shortlisted nominees, with 148 diversity champions and community groups taking away the NDA accolade, the National Diversity Awards has shone a light on the work of some of the UK’s most inspirational diversity champions. As a result, our shortlisted nominees and award winners have received vital increased funding, fundamental collaborations and wider recognition for crucial services. The 2022 ceremony will continue to recognise unsung heroes, community organisations that are doing phenomenal work to enhance the lives of millions from the breadth of Great Britain.
