15th Birthday CrowdFundraiser
Help keep our small but incredibly impactful charity going through this difficult time by supporting us to raise £5,000 in our 15th Birthday year!
Movema have engaged 100,000 people in world dance activity over the past 15 years, including the most underserved and vulnerable people in our communities including children, people experiencing mental health issues and vulnerable migrants.
Due to austerity, ongoing COVID repercussions and the cost of living crisis, along with the pressures of increasingly frequent, racially motivated and gender-based violence in our communities we are really struggling to continue our work.
This money will support us to continue our work, especially;
* Projects in Bristol for families in Adverse Childhood Settings in an area of high knife crime and unemployment.
* Work with women refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants, a group who suffer the worst health and social inequalities in UK society.
* Continuing to train diverse artists, with lived experience of the barriers faced by our participants.
* Bringing our diverse communities together in joyous events, celebrating diversity and tackling the divisions in our society.
