We are continuing into our 4th year of running community dance and arts activities in Filwood Community Centre, Knowle West for children and their families.
The weekly sessions now run on Thursdays 6-7pm and are free to all.
During January and February 2024 the group are celebrating the Lunar New year and welcoming the year of the Dragon!.
We’ll be looking at some interesting themes from East and South East Asian cultures, whilst exploring how we enjoy festivals and arts in our own families and communities.
On Sunday 18th February the Everybody Dance Now group have been invited back to the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery for the third time, to perform their dance ‘Our Happy Dragon Family’ and show their art work to the crowds.
This event is open to the public, and dancers from our group tell us that presenting at such an important event, in such a prestigious building, gives them a sense of pride and confidence.
