Lunar New Year Bristol 2024

We are thrilled to be celebrating East and South East Asian cultures in Bristol and South Gloucestershire again this year with 3 performance events!

Saturday 10th Feb – Page Park, Staple Hill

Movema’s World Fusion group will be performing a Malaysian Pop (M-Pop) choreography at 12pm.
The event runs from 11.30am – 1.30pm with arts, food and crafts for everyone to enjoy. Hosted by Friends of Page Park, Bean Tree Cafe and Hongkongers in Britain.

Saturday 17th Feb – Coniston Community Centre

Our World Fusion adult community group will perform at South Gloucestershire Race Equality Network’s Lunar New Year Celebration at Coniston Community Centre, Patchway.

The event is 6.30-8.30pm

Sunday 18th Feb – Bristol Museum and Arts Gallery

Movema and Filwood Community Centre’s family group ‘Everybody Dance Now’ will be performing their dance ‘Our Happy Dragon Family’ at 12pm.

Everybody Dance Now meet regularly on Thursday evenings at
Filwood Community Centre. The group incorporate different cultural
dance styles and craft work in their sessions, often working towards
local performance and events.
