A monstrous concoction of African drumming and underground, stomping, bass smothered dance.
Originating from the ancient art of drumming from the West coast of Africa, our project was transformed into its modern state when it merged the traditional African beats with a range of modern dance music from House, through Drum ‘n’ Bass to Dub-Step. The collaboration of these primitive and progressive musical genres has been transformed into Djembeklan.
The group draws on influences from many cultures, Spain, Argentina, Romania, Guinee Conarky and England. These diverse dynamics create a mix of primitive culture and modern dance music to develop a truly unique sound.
