Showcase for Black History Month Bristol

Our popular, family friendly Black History Month celebration returns to Bean Tree Cafe for the third year! Join us for an evening of performance celebrating arts of the African Diaspora including: Mundi Dance, Contemporary West African Dance and Drumming group, Movema’s World Fusion Community dance troupe who will be performing an Afrobeats piece choreographed by guest artist Precious Onyenekwu Tatah, RISE Youth Dance, Bristol’s top youth dance company performing contemporary and Caribbean Soca routines, Bristol based singer/songwriter Nia Bimkubwa,

Mbira player Kennedy Tafara Chakanetsa and more!

Ages 6+ welcome.

Under 2s free and do not need a ticket.

There will be a short interval during the event. £7.50 per person. Soft drinks and hot drinks available. Small bar with beer and wine. No food available besides crisps and cakes for purchase.
ENTRY TICKET INCLUDES ONE JAMAICAN PATTY & GLASS OF PUNCH.
Both veggie and alcohol free options will be available.
