Movema and friends will be performing as part of Bristol Museum and Art Gallery’s Lunar New Year celebration.
Our piece is based on the year of the Water Tiger and involves community participants from Filwood Community Centre, students from boomsatsuma and guest Chinese classical dance artist Wawa Chen.
This event is free but due to COVID precautions, pre-booking will be essential so the museum can manage numbers inside the building and keep everyone safe. Tickets will be available in early January so please check the website for updates.
Filwood Performance 5th Feb
On the previous day the group will be performing their Water Tiger piece along with Rise Youth Dance as part of the Everybody Dance Now project supported by Bristol Dance Futures.

We are running dance and craft making workshops on Wednesdays 6-7pm restarting 11th Jan 2022 until the performance on 5th & 6th Feb 2022.
