Movema’s adult community group are working towards a performance to be presented at South Gloucestershire Race Equality Network’s Happy Diwali Celebration on 17th November at Thornbury Active Lifestyle.
The group are working with Pooja Agarwal who is teaching her Bollywood and Indian Folk dance choreography to create a vibrant and uplifting dance presentation which will be on at 7pm.
Tickets for the event are just £2 for adults and free for children and young people.
Weekly Classes
We welcome adults from all backgrounds to join us for our weekly World Fusion Classes on Tuesdays at the Island, Bristol where we have fun and dance around the world during the year doing many styles with guest teachers. As well as the weekly classes, participants have the opportunity to performing at events such as St Pauls Carnival, Lunar New Year and the Refugee Festival.
