We have two exciting Lunar New Year events in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Sunday 29th January – Bristol Museum
12pm Performance
Our Everybody Dance Now group from Filwood Community Centre will be performing their new dance piece ‘Peacock and Dragon Dancing In The Stars’ for the Lunar New Year!
The group are working with classical Chinese dancer Wawa Chen, musician KALA CHNG, RISE Youth Dance & Claudia Collins (arts engagement). Creating a wonderful celebration of East Asian and South East Asian culture and the themes of the new year festival such as fireworks and lanterns.
This event is open to public and very popular! Please arrive early to avoid disappointment!

Movema’s adults World Fusion group will be performing their new M-pop (Malaysian Pop) routine ‘Impikan‘ at the Chinese New Year Party event run by South Gloucestershire Chinese Association and SGREN South Gloucestershire Race Equality Network.
