Jump Up and Be Seen – Performance for Black History Month
Come down to this effervescent showcase of professional and community entertainment including dancers and musicians at BlaST’s official launch.
Movema are bringing back their community performance group to be part of this event. Jump Up and Be Seen, funded by ACE and Liverpool City Council will be part of Roots and Routes – a Festival of the African Diaspora lead by Katumba.
This project will explore the history of carnival, and how it is used as a vehicle of expression, visibility and protest.
