Parade from Caribbean Centre, Liverpool

Carnival with Katumba

Movema are so exciting to be bringing back Carnival in partnership with Katumba.

This year we will be exploring the history of our global majority communities and the effects of climate change. To do this we will create an exciting troupe to dance through the streets, to celebrate our identity and city. We will be working with the Caribbean Community Centre, Afro Dance Academy and the Black Women’s health group.

How to get involved with the parade:

Attend 2 sessions to learn the choreography.
Sessions are free to engage, registration is essential. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1PagPhFIGxzM4PHLgdI3Wkd2vqwzQ3UYQBzbF_baolDg/viewform?edit_requested=true
