NEW ROLE – Associate Artist

This role is offered by Movema in partnership with Milapfest.

Job Description 

To realise our vision Movema and Milapfest seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Associate Artist. Working closely with the Movema Co-Directors and team to design, develop and deliver new and current programmes of cultural dance that reflect Movema and Milapfest’s core values. 

The post holder will be responsible for delivering and managing work in a range of settings including schools and communities including adult learning and working with vulnerable groups, including a regular Saturday morning class.

The Part-Time (3.5 days per week) Associate Artist will need to be highly organised, with knowledge and experience of working professionally in dance, including dances from different cultures (preferably with Indian Dance expertise) and ability to work individually and as part of a dynamic team.  This role also includes exciting opportunities to train in Indian dance and culture with Milapfest, we hope to develop and extend this side of the role the coming years.
